Check it out! You never know what is going to come into Medals of America on any given day. We have several variations of WWII ribbons on file, including thick threaded ones and even plastic covered mounted sets, but this is a rare beauty, obviously custom made in Germany. I love how the devices are on top of the glass and not printed in the flat image part of the ribbon color. This ribbon set has been sent in by a customer bound for they’re new shadow box. What a nice centerpiece to have to make a truly unique shadow box.

These were really popular in the occupation period right after WW2 into the korean war. I have found a few small 2 place bars in shops but never one to this extent. The arrowhead would lead me to guess a paratrooper or D-Day soldier. Outstanding set im sure these will display gorgeously.

Have had a representative approach the Marine Corps in authorizing the mini ribbons with the evening dress (evening mess dress). It is my understanding the U.S. Air Force has authorized them. Please advise. Semper Fidelis, Hal Davis
